Apple Pay and Google Pay

Add your Magic Pay card to your phone and pay with a tap in stores, in apps and on the web.

Both the virtual and the physical card can be added to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. It takes about a minute, and you can start paying with your phone before the physical card even arrives.

iPhone and Apple Watch

  1. Open the Wallet appTap the “+” button, then “Debit or Credit Card”.
  2. Enter your card detailsCopy them from the card screen in the Magic Pay app, or scan the physical card with your camera.
  3. Confirm with the code from your emailWe send a one-time code to the email address on your Magic Pay account. Enter it and you’re ready to pay.
  4. Apple WatchOn your iPhone, open the Watch app, go to “Wallet & Apple Pay” and add the card the same way.

Android

  1. Open Google WalletTap “Add to Wallet”, then “Payment card”.
  2. Enter your card detailsCopy them from the card screen in the Magic Pay app.
  3. Confirm with the code from your emailEnter the one-time code we send to your email, and the card is ready to use.

Works with both cards

You can add the virtual card, the physical card or both. Payments come from the same balance either way.

The card number stored in Wallet is different from your real card number. It’s a token: a substitute number that only works on that device. Merchants never see your actual card details.

Where it works

  • Any terminal that accepts contactless payments.
  • Apps and websites with an Apple Pay or Google Pay button.
  • The limit for a contactless payment without a PIN is set by the country where the terminal is located, not by Magic Pay.

Conditions

  • You can add the card only after your account has completed verification.
  • A frozen card can’t be used in Wallet until you unfreeze it.
  • The confirmation code is sent by email. If it doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder.
  • Device and region requirements are set by Apple and Google.
